What’s your name?

Spencer Moore (Spoiler, it’s a double name. My last name is Landvater)

Where do you live?

Barcelona, Spain

Where are you from?

Raleigh, North Carolina, USA

When did you move to Barcelona?

I came in 2016 for a short-stay intensive art program, fell in love with the environment and mostly who I was in it, went home and packed some bags, moved here and never looked back!

Do you love living in Barcelona?
I absolutely do! And I love sharing all that I love and have learned about the city. If you’re traveling here, reach out, I’m happy to send my fave spots!

Do you speak the languages?

Yes, I speak fluent Castellano (Spanish) and I am picking up Catalan (poc a poc).

What do you do?

I’m a female health educator, patient-turned advocate, founder of The Hairy Chin and host of The Hairy Chin Podcast, and a lifelong creative. My work before female health advocacy included a bit of everything - studio art, graphic design, graphic art, branding, audiovisual producer, and creative consultant. graphic designer, artist, writer, teacher, art representative, film producer and creative consultant.

What about your health?
I have dealt with chronic health issues as well as some heavy diagnoses like early-stage breast cancer for over four decades. I talk a lot about my health journey with what I share and through my advocacy work. It is very much a part of me, however it won’t ever define me.

What about your art?
I have been creating things for as long as I can remember. Artistic creations have always been such an amazing outlet for me, and I can’t imagine what life would be like without this passion to transfer my emotions into tangible forms.
